Peter Nyboer composes and performs in a way that is intimately tied to making music hardware and software. Indulging in the fascinations of different controls for different sound generators, the result is unabashedly dictated less by his artistic acumen or vision, but by the gear that is in front of him. This can result in far-out noise-scapes, hypnotic techno, psychedelic stoner rock, or vague imitations of old library music themes. His live performances incorporate a mix of these, improvising with pre-recorded media, live sequencing, and hardware synthesizer soundscapes.
