Delta Sine

Delta Sine

Delta-Sine is a nomadic tech-lectro project by Luis Murillo. He uses hardware sequencers to control analog synthesizers and drum machines, both old and new. Much of h is inspiration draws from the music of late 70s and early 80s, such as Alan Parson’s Pyramid, and Alexander Robotnick. However, having be en an active member of San Francisco’s underground psytrance scene during the late 2000s also left an imprint in his music. Upon moving b ack to his native SoCal and Tijuana, Luis quickly reconnected with the local underground scene, with eccentric experimental noise artists sout h of San Diego, and underground techno parties of downtown Los Angeles. His fifth studio album and most recent release, Analogue Zigurat, is a departure from the previous Berghain-esque thrash-techno record, ‘IMMEDIACY’, and instead is a collection of “vibey” nomadic melodic motifs which he calls intellidisco.
